Now, now everyone. *fights the crowds to hold them back* I know everyone is wanting to strangle me at this point. Its never very pleasant to hear a module going on hold *dodges person jumping for his neck* cause quite frankly most of them never get picked up again. But settle down everyone, cause there’s a good reason. As most of you probably know by now, we’ve teamed up with Jason Roy to create Bouncyrock Entertainment. This means we’ve got two module productions on our hand. And.. seeing the Misery Stone is a lot further ahead of Stygius it would make more sense to finish it first. So before you make up your minds weather or not you want to kill me, think about this: We’ve got more hands on one single module, which will make it a better module, as well as making sure it comes out within decent time. Stygius will be picked right back up once Misery Stone has been released.. and from that time on, we’ll have more experience working together. WAIT.. I’ve got more to say *RUNS for the hills!*

Jason, Michele and I came together and decided to set up a NWN2 developing team. Seeing we were already helping each other on several occasions, we figured.. why not?

I am honored to be in league with such talented people. Between Michele’s excellent writing ability and her great eye for detail, and Jason’s unbelievable ear for sequenced noises and stuffing areas (his own words) I can just sit back, relax and put in some hours of 3dmax every evening.

The modules (Stygius - Stygian Supremacy) generated the (Stygius Prelude.)
The Prelude
This will be an elaborate story telling of the main module. Set in a custom world, story, rules, and NPC’s. This will not be a D&D setting. We feel you will get a unique gaming experience the NWN2 custom module creation has to offer.
We have (Michele’s experiment) that created the existence of the prelude. This will remain a secret until the release.
A combination of situations giving the player many elements of story telling. Dark, twisted, humorous, endearing, and provoking. Also an extraordinary bond between player and PC. NPC’s that have depth and real stories of their own. Achieving distinct personalities between each NPC is our goal.
The module is mainly set in the small but wealthy town of Svorkia and a province isolated from the rest of the kingdom by rivers crossing in the south and a mountain range to the north. Only a ferry-crossing connects them, which is used to transport the Svorkia goods as well the occasional traveler. Despite kingdoms raging war, fighting to advance borders, little makes it to this area before a plan of a different nature is set into motion.
Stygius: The Prelude will feature a lot of custom content, including: turtles, work horses, placeables, quite a few NPCs and the stygius.
There will be more information, artwork, and progress as we go. Hopefully screen shots in the not so distant future.

So it is 2008. Wowies! Can you believe that year? It flew by! Enjoy all 365 1/4 days of the new year! My new years wish. See more player made modules for nwn2 in 2008, 9, 10, 11 etc etc etc….
Short Update. Trey is working hard on some fun side quest. He has a fantastic imagination! Jonny has been doodling away at art work and modeling. I (Michele) Still grinding away at dialog and story content. That is about it for now. Cheers!

We’ve decided to release some of the character concepts for everyone. These will both be put on their own section of the blog with a proper description next to them. Anything that is important to the story we’ll keep to ourselves for now, for not to spoil anything for the future players. The characters here are Agrona and Caedmon.

Now, I know some people may be a bit surprised when they see this post, not because of it being Custom Content, however more so because of the sort of content you are currently seeing. Yes, its a turtle, a small turtle, a river turtle in fact. It’s gonna make sense when the prelude is released, you’ll see.. at-least somewhat. Most of the custom content for this project will not be published before the module itself is released, however small bits and pieces will be posted once in a while. In other updates, Michele has continued her work on the story for the prelude, and all aspects of it is coming together really well. Between some excellent dialogue, unique character descriptions and funny situations it will end up pleasing everyone. Jason has started on some music for the module, also joining on music is Pascal van Stekelenburg. Finally, here is the image I referred to earlier in this post, so enjoy.
